Reproduction of a brass pendant called Lunule or Lunula. This jewel was very widespread during the Gallo-Roman period, and even before (Bronze Age), and after with the Vikings. Like pendants of the "phalus" type, the lunulae are amulets which protect those who wear it. The lunula refers to the Goddess Luna.

To avoid paying heavy postage, select in single letter as for coins.
