BRONZE ROMAN PHALLIC PENDANT - MEDIUM MODEL

Reproduction of a Roman phallic pendant. We find here, on the left, the "Manus Fica" (obscene hand representing the female genitals); on the right: the phallus; in the center: a realistic representation of the phallus and testicles. A suspension ring is presented on the upper part of the object.

The phallus was the symbol of virility and fertility. It was also worn like a jewel, like a lucky amulet! This model is found much in archaeological museums.

Brass object made with the technique of lost wax, as in antiquity.
