She holds an arrow in her right hand and a bow on the left. Diana is the goddess of hunting, war and night in Roman mythology. She is assimilated to Artemis in Greek mythology. Daughter of Jupiter and twin sister of Apollo, god of the Sun, she is armed with a bow, arrows and short dress she is the goddess of the hunt and lives in forests and clearings, at the edge between the wild world and civilized world. She is accompanied by a procession composed of nymphs called Océane. Diana is depicted with a crescent moon on her head and surrounded by deers.
