ROMAN MOSAIC - MOSAIC WITH THE GOD AION OF ARLES

Great mosaic adorned with God Aion sitting on his throne. He holds in his right hand: a disc on which are represented the signs of the zodiac; with the left hand a long scepter.

This medallion had its place in the center of a large mosaic whose original was discovered in the early 80s, on the site of the Verrerie, Arles (Trinquetaille). The entire mosaic has been restored. Today, it is presented to the public, the Departmental Museum of Ancient Arles.

Each mosaic is unique and can be used flat, inserted in a floor or wall or presented in a table (attachment system at the back).

Handmade work, entirely handmade, with many natural stones such as marble, granite, travertine, quartz, limestone, ...

The object can be sent ... but it is advisable to recover the mosaic directly on site.
