The lorica squamata is a protection that is native to the Orient. It is found especially among Persian warriors. It was then adopted by the Roman legionaries, including the officers. It is a good compromise between the lorica segmentata and the lorica hamata.

This model has the particularity of presenting brass scales. It has shoulder pads with scales but these can be removed with buckles on the back.

Our models have been manufactured in a rigorous way and are therefore of exceptional quality. As in antiquity, the scales are linked together with brass threads and are also sewn on on linen, inside.

Various sizes available but can be made to measure. Sold without belt.

height: 75 cm; weight: 9 kgs on average; bust: 120 cm.
