ROMAN MOSAIC - MOSAIC WITH THE SEASON WINTER OF ARLES

Great mosaic adorned with season winter personified.

This medallion had its place in a corner of a large mosaic whose original was discovered in the early 80s, on the site of the Verrerie, Arles (Trinquetaille). The entire mosaic has been restored. Today, it is presented to the public, the Departmental Museum of Ancient Arles.

Each mosaic is unique and can be presented flat, put into the floor, or presented as a painting (an attaching system is present on the back).

Craft work, full hand made, with many natural stones as marble, granite, travertine, quartz, limestone,...
